Green Apple Smoothie

Ingredients
  • 1 Granny Smith apple
  • 2 stalks celery, about 3 ounces
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • ½ Lemon, juice only
  • 1 ounce baby kale (a large handful)
  • 2 Tbl plain unsweetened collagen or plant-based protein powder
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup water
Instructions
  1. Place handful of baby kale into the bottom of the blender.
  2. Chop apple, celery, and dates in to chunks and place into blender.
  3. Add lemon juice, protein powder, salt, cayenne pepper, and water to blender.
  4. Blend on high for about 1 minute or until all of the date chunks have been completely processed.
  5. Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
